About This Community
Originally founded in 1909 as an exclusive summer community of waterfront cottages, Pine Beach was long known as Eagle’s Point, due to the eagles who nested in the tall trees of the area. An active sailing town, Pine Beach was the home of the Admiral Farragut Academy, and was known as the Annapolis of New Jersey.
Pine Beach has a very active yacht club and sailing program and is a very family oriented town. The local elementary school is a small picturesque school, with an excellent reputation. Winding streets along the waterfront are lined with mature trees. The houses are a mix of old and new, large and small and the town has that feel of a place that evolved over time and managed to retain its character.
