Seaside Heights has been a popular summer resort community since before the legendary boardwalk was built in 1939. The community has a mix of single family homes, multi-family buildings and motels. A recent revitalization plan has spurred restoration to many of the commercial buildings and motels and is also continuing on the boardwalk. Filled with games, amusement rides, miniature golf, homemade ice cream stands and pizza parlors, this truly a family oriented resort. Much of the town shuts down for the winter but as the revitalization moves forward, this could change. This community currently offers some of the best values at the Jersey Shore.
